"Check into the C’est la Vie Inn, a Queen Anne–style painted lady. At this posh B&B, it’s hard to say what’s more elegant: the gardens or the interiors."

Bed & Breakfast

in Eugene, Oregon

Health safety, as well as your comfort, is our priority.  We follow strict guidelines concerning Covid transfer prevention as well as cleaning protocols. We have four rooms but only have two breakfast slots available due to social distancing requirements.

We are presently offering our two King bed rooms with clawfoot tub only.

If you are travel mates / family pod requiring multiple rooms, breakfast becomes less of an issue as does room availability.  Feel free to inquire about multi room /whole house rentals.

We still serve cookies and afternoon port with wrapped chocolates.  Cookies are now in your room instead of the butler’s pantry.  Coffee and tea are available in the butler’s pantry.  We supply hand sanitizer at all offerings and encourage our guests to protect themselves and others.

Masks are required to be worn upon arrival and when out of your room to prevent the spread of Covid.

C’est La Vie Inn offers a quiet urban oasis for the traveler with discriminating taste. Located in the Jefferson Westside neighborhood, it is walking distance to the Lane County fairgrounds, the food, brewery, and distillery scene in the Whiteaker neighborhood, and the Downtown/Market District with music and restaurants. The University of Oregon, local wine tasting rooms, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, and Matthew Knight Arena are just a short bus/Uber/Lyft/car ride away, as is the tax free shopping at 5th Street Public Market, Valley River, Oakway and Gateway malls.  Enjoy seasonal events such as the Eugene Saturday Market featuring local artisans, food vendors and live music.

Conveniently located just an hour from the coast or an hour to the mountains, there are unlimited scenic walking, biking, hiking, and sightseeing opportunities along the  local paved paths, rivers, lakes and Oregon coast.  Relax and enjoy our lush gardens or sit by the babbling pond.  Curl up in the parlor with a favorite book, work on a wooden puzzle in the library or enjoy a beverage while sitting in the turret as the world goes by. Your comfort is paramount.
